Having a glass is good!

As reported, the Keep Arts Centered campaign results were less than our goal but still a pretty good amount given the economic climate and that The ArtsCenter had never conducted a campaign like that. It was not the best year to introduce a new giving campaign, but we are proud of our effort and happy we took the risk.

More great news from the North Carolina legislature last week! That’s a phrase you don’t often see or hear, but it’s true. For the first time in the state’s history, students will have an arts requirement in order to graduate. As a native North Carolinian, I am proud that we have taken this important step.
