Ashley Bryan, Children's Book Author, Illustrator, and Poet Visits The ArtsCenter
This Monday, children's illustrator, author and poet, Ashley Bryan visited The ArtsCenter to give a performance to several children's classes.
With his animated energy and original style he captivated everyone in the audience as he walked onto the stage. Many kids were so inspired that they volunteered to join Ashley on stage and participate in reciting poems they had memorized in front of the audience.
Ashley then recited some of his own poems outloud and had the audience repeat the verses. The kids were definitely excited to witness a performance that was so interactive and high energy. After the performance, Ashley met one on one with some of his adult and kid fans and signed many copies of his work.
