After creating a News blast for our front page, I thought it would be great to open this topic up for discussion via our blog and Facebook: is the music scene one of the top reasons to live here in the Triangle?  The Independent (The Triangle's great alternative weekly paper) noticed JD Souther and Jill Andrews are playing The ArtsCenter the same night as Tedeschi Trucks Band and John Hammond are over at DPAC, and featured this as a "smackdown" of sorts, going up against each other. Of course, we love DPAC, and TTB are going to blow the roof off the place.  If only we could be in two places at once.
