3022. FROM DRAWING TO PAINTING: Tuesday, 6:15-9:15pm, July 24-August 28 (6 weeks)

 What is painting, what is drawing and where do they meet? Sometimes decisions for using color can be daunting. Regardless of your drawing experience, we will learn some effective ways to plan your work and add color.  We will use sketches to learn how to translate ideas and be able to figure out the dynamics of a finished piece. This studio class will focus on the interdependencies of drawing and painting with studio time, discussions and examples. All skill levels and all media are encouraged.
