YAC 119B: Magic of Science (for Wizards!) Sept 14-Oct 26 (7 weeks) 4:30-6p, grades 4-6
4:30 pm to 6:00 pm
This class explores the places where magic and science come together! Young wizards (armed with a full test tube lab) will watch and learn in delight as they make their ‘fingers smoke,’ create Wizard Wands and cast color-changing spells. Parents will be impressed by the basic science principles that go into creating these fun experiments using Silly Science, Weird Physics and Incredible Illusions! Levitate magnets, make water disappear, read the audiences’ mind, lift up a bottle of rice using only a chopstick—it’s all possible and amazing!
Materials fee of $10 due to instructor on first day of class.
