1054. ADD SPARKLE TO YOUR JEWELRY : Thursday, 6: 30-9pm, November 15-December 13 (no class Nov. 22) (4 weeks)

Add sparkle to your designs with the addition of stones. In this class you will be introduced to the most common settings such as bezel and tube setting. Learn how to gauge stones, which burs to use, and how to use a burnisher. We will first make samples to better understand these techniques, and then if times allows, a ring will be made. Basic supplies will be provided, including stones.
*Prerequisite: Beginning Metalsmithing: The First Step—Basic Techniques and Beginning Metalsmithing: Soldering
*$10 studio fee and a $30 materials fee, paid to instructor at first class
*Please note: Participants must be at least 18 years of age for jewelry classes, except for courses in Metal Clay, where they can be as young as 13 (with parent).
