Ballot Box Blues presented by the Playwrights Roundtable

Mark Twain returns and tries to make sense of 21 st century politics…A construction worker is dead serious about voting for Bugs Bunny for president…A conservative candidate turns to singing his talking points to woo un-listening voters…Advocacy turns to farce in a play within a play about homosexuals portraying heterosexuals portraying bisexuals portraying homosexuals.

 
Participating playwrights include: Mark Cornell (BUGS BUNNY); Debra Kaufman (STILL WORKING ON IT); John Paul Middlesworth (SINGING POINTS); Ken Wolpert (POWER PLAY); Annie Taft (REVOLUTION); and Paul Newell (MARK TWAIN TALKS FAITH AND POLITICS).
