The ArtsCenter offers concerts that represent the spectrum of musical genres by local, regional, and nationally touring artists including Americana, Blues, Rock and Roll, Bluegrass, Zydeco and Celtic. TAC has also produced two concerts in 2009-2010 in partnership with Chatham Mills, a historic textile mill turned performance venue in Chatham County. We are proud to say the Carolina Chocolate Drops, Avett Brothers, Rickie Lee Jones, Dr. John, Mavis Staples and Steve Earle are just a few of the artists who have played sold out shows here over the past few years.

Featuring new works and re-inventions of the classics, improvisation and storytelling, puppetry and musicals, theatre for younger and older audiences, ArtsCenter Stage is community-oriented, professional theatre with a commitment to developing new artists, supporting new work and engaging audiences.
In addition to ArtsCenter Stage productions, The ArtsCenter hosts a variety of performance companies including Hidden Voices, The Monti, Paperhand Puppet Intervention, Transactors Improv, One Song Productions, Playwrights Roundtable, Pauper Players, Company Carolina, The Playground Lab and more.

Showcasing a mix of local, regional, and national performers, SuperFun Shows are a unique way to spend a Saturday morning. These shows typically target PreK-elementary aged audiences and feature a variety of art forms such as, music, theater, puppetry, dance, and more. Acclaimed national children's performers including kindie rock star Justin Roberts and folk musician Elizabeth Mitchell have performed sold-out shows as part of this series. Other SuperFun Show artists in the past few years include local favorites Rags To Riches Theatre for Young Audiences, Lunch Money, Gustafer Yellowgold, and Hobey Ford's Golden Rod Puppets. The 2011-2012 SuperFun Series is sponsored in part by Chapel Hill Tire Car Care Center.
